Last Saturday Venture Hive held its first informational session on its Venture Hive Prep Program to promote entrepreneurship at the High School level. Beginning in February, Venture Hive will be hosting at least 25 high school students from private and public high schools on a bi-weekly basis. Students will learn from successful serial entrepreneurs and receive mentoring and support towards applied experiential learning.
On January 22nd, the Venture Hive Prep program also hosted a group of 16 high school students from Miami Country Day School for a morning of entrepreneurship introduction and workshops followed by demonstrations from Bloop It!, SWOL, The Pop Crowd,MediaRecord, Hash, Chance,EveryPost, Raw Shorts and Kompoz.
Applications for the Venture Hive Prep Saturday Pilot Program are due on January 31st.
